Seniors Day - Wallumbilla

                         

 

On the 24th February Seniors enjoyed a visit from Shirley Hart (Diversional Therapist).  Seniors participated in Art, Craft and Games.  This event was thoughly enjoyed by all that attended.


RUN FOR STRENGTH

On the 21st February 2010 Yileba community participated in a Run For Strength Event.  The morning consisted of a 1, 3 or 5 km walk or run.

  

The event was toughly enjoyed and was held in great spirit, with several teams dressing up with the craziest Zinc face or fancy dress.  Several suggested they would like the event to be held on a more frequent basis.  41 participated in the event

The day was supported by Ergon Electricity, Roma Cinema, Chapers, Roma Toyworld, IGA, The Yuleba Hotel, Henrys foursquare and MHEP


YOUTH

Commencing every 2nd Friday the Blue Light Shed in Yuleba is open from 6pm - 9pm for youth activities.

  • Wii Games
  • Ball Games
  • Movie Nights

All these activites are to help stimulate minds and keep the children active.  Everyone WELCOME.


KARATE WORKSHOP

Wallumbilla

A Karate workshop was part of the School Holiday Program.  It is an Aussie Kids Karate program, which is designed to help with coordination, balance & self esteem.  It is used in conduction with power games & activities that help these skills.  The next Karate workshop wil be held in Wallumbilla on the 8th March, which will continue on a weekly basis.
